our story

The Felderhof is a traditional South Tyrolean farm with livestock, nestled in a peaceful, sunny location on a hillside.
Your farm holiday in Maranza brings you right into nature – at the edge of the forest, about five kilometers from the village center.

Located at 1,277 meters above sea level, the farm sits on the edge of the beautiful Gitschberg Jochtal ski and alpine region.
We purchased the Felderhof in 1970, and between 1983 and 1985, the house and barn were built.

Rural Idyll

Sunny hillside in a peaceful location

The area around the South Tyrolean mountain village of Maranza is one of the sunniest in the entire Puster Valley – with more than 280 days of sunshine a year and skies of deep blue.

Surrounded by lush meadows and dense forests, the Felderhof offers the perfect setting for a nature-filled holiday in the South Tyrolean mountains.
Idyllic hiking trails pass right by the farm, offering breathtaking views of the Puster Valley and the Schlern massif along the way.

In the summer months, the spacious sunbathing lawn invites you to relax and soak up the warm rays, while young guests can look forward to a playground with a swing, slide, and sandbox.
And for a perfect end to the day, you can fire up the outdoor grill and enjoy a cozy barbecue.
